THE NEWBORN SESSION EXPERIENCE
1. Making the Newborn Session Appointment
Once the newborn session is booked, I will mark in my agenda the baby estimated due date. That's only for orientation some babies come on time, some earlier, other later. That's all right and you do not need to worry because newborn sessions are my highest priority and I will accommodate your newborn session whenever your baby comes. All I need from beautiful mama when the baby arrives is a quick message telling me that the baby arrived so we can finally set the newborn session date.
2. Curated Outfits & Props
I have all finger picked the finest outfits, wraps and props to create this beautiful memory of your baby. All your newborn sets will be carefully picked and beautifully created. If you have any preference of color, sets I would be happy to hear to design something considering your wishes. If family pictures will be taken, I will be happy to guide you defining outfits for the whole family.
3. Personal Advice & Preparation
I will give all advice you need with each detail of your newborn photo session. I will also provide you with a preparation list prior your newborn photo session. The success of our session starts in a good preparation.

When is the best time for a newborn photo shoot?
Newborn photos are best if taken between the 5th to 14th day of life of the newborn. However if your baby is a bit older than 14 days, usually no problem. Also in case of premature babies or multiple babies, it can also be a little later. Contact me and we will find together the best time.
How long does the newborn photo shoot take?
The time duration of a newborn session entirely depends on the mood and needs of each baby, as a recommendation, I can advise parents to plan this day to be relaxed and with no time pressure. For your orientation however, the average duration of a newborn session is between 2-3 hours in a calm and relaxed atmosphere.
Where does the newborn session take place?
At our spacious and daylight filled home studio located in Pinneberg which will be carefully prepared for you and have everything you and your baby need.
When will I receive the pictures after the newborn photo session?
Here is the process after the session.
Latest 1 week after the shoot I will send you light and color edited photo online gallery for your picture selection. Once selection is made and you advise me selection is now completed, I will then finalize editing (skin and details) on the photos selected within 3 weeks. Once pictures are ready and payments are fully settled, the final high quality edited pictures will be sent to you via email for download and are finally all yours!
